Diego Costa in r Spanish national team training camp

Diego Costa reported for his first ever Spanish national team training camp earlier on Monday. This is the second time he has been called up by Vicente del Bosque, having been forced to pull out through injury on the first occasion.
Costa's inclusion in the Spain squad is the biggest talking point ahead of Wednesday's meeting with Italy. The Brazil-born striker is in line to make his 'La Roja' debut against Cesare Prandelli's side after his starring role in Sunday's 2-2 derby draw at the Calderón.

David Beckham: "Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the top three players in the world"

David Beckham rates Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as one of the best players he ever played with and in the top three footballers in the world.

The England legend saw out his career at the Parc des Princes last season, helping Carlo Ancelotti's side claim the Ligue 1 title after signing in January.

And Beckham, who played alongside the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo during his career, believes the Swede is one of the finest in the game now.

"He's in the top three," he is quoted as saying by L'Equipe.

"Being in the same team as him is incredible. He's one of the most talented players I crossed during my career. One of the best in the world without doubt."

Ibrahimovic has scored a total of 37 goals in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Modric practised his shooting with Zidane

Modric is an accomplished goalscorer from long distance. However, that doesn't stop him from practising. Maybe the explanation for his wonder goal at the Parken lies in training on the eve of the match, when the Croat stayed behind to practise his shooting from outside the box with Zidane. His goal will go down as one of the best of the season.
